SHMÚ warns of strong wind. Warnings apply in these districts | TVNOVINY.sk – TVNOVINY.sk

In the districts of Bratislava, Pezinok, Senec, Dunajská Streda, Galanta and Trnava, a wind warning is valid until 19:00 on Friday. The Slovak Hydrometeorological Institute (SHMÚ) informed about this on the website.
Meteorologists expect a rare occurrence of wind that will reach a speed of 18 to 23 meters per second in gusts. The average wind speed can reach around 12 meters per second, which is a potential hazard for human activities.
“The predicted wind speed is normal for the given time of year and area, but it can cause minor damage,” warned SHMÚ. Source: SHMÚ
