Another Russian manager connected to the gas giant Gazprom has died. Yuri Voronov was the head of a logistics company that did business with Gazprom. His body was found in a pool near his home in St. Petersburg. The head of the logistics company, which had lucrative contracts with the gas concern Gazprom, was found dead a few days ago in the pool near his house in the luxurious suburb of the Russian city of St. Petersburg. This was reported on Tuesday by the British newspaper The Independent, which recalled that since the beginning of this year, this is the fifth mysterious death among high-ranking Russian managers associated with the energy giant Gazprom. The body of Yuri Voronov with a gunshot wound to the head was found on the afternoon of July 4. Medical examiners believe that the shot was fired between midnight and 05:00 local time. According to security camera footage reviewed by police, no one has entered or left the house since July 1. All circumstances of the businessman’s death are under investigation. According to Russian media, the wife of the deceased said that her husband left for St. Petersburg on July 1 and “drank a lot” for about two weeks before that. She admitted that Voronov started drinking alcohol because he lost a lot of money. It was the result of a conflict with business partners and suppliers who allegedly “behaved dishonestly”.
