Shooting in Copenhagen, excluding terrorist origin

The Danish police have ruled out the terrorist matrix for yesterday’s shooting in the Field shopping center in Copenhagen, one of the largest in Scandinavia. This was stated by the chief inspector of Copenhagen Soeren Thomassen during a press conference. Thomassen then claimed that one of the three dead was a Russian citizen living in Denmark, while two Swedes and two Danes were seriously injured. According to the investigation by the Danish police, the arrested man – a 22-year-old Dane, already known to the police and probably suffering from mental problems – most likely acted alone and selected his victims at random.
