Ukraine, missiles over Kiev: residential buildings hit

Russian missiles have returned to hit Kiev. Several explosions were heard in the Ukrainian capital this morning, after which emergency services were deployed in the city’s Shevchenko district, Mayor Vitali Klitschko wrote on Telegram. Read also Anton Herashchenko, adviser to the Ukrainian interior minister, wrote that witnesses reported missile attacks that hit residential areas of the city. It is unclear if there are any casualties. The new attacks come the day after a missile attack on the city of Sarny in western Ukraine in which at least three people were killed, according to authorities.
