The SaS party will again stop joining the coalition councils. The reason is the ongoing attacks from the Minister of Finance Igor Matovič (OĽANO). Party spokesman Ondrej Šprlák informed about it. The party reacted to Matovič’s statements, according to which the SaS was to argue with the opposition. On Tuesday (June 21), Prime Minister Eduard Heger (OĽANO) spoke about the party’s return to coalition councils. Matovic indicated that SaS was looking for a pretext for reaching early elections. The SaS denied negotiations with the opposition to vote on the president’s comments. “However, Igor Matovič’s attacks continue unabated. For this reason, too, we again refuse to participate in coalition councils. Igor Matovič is only lying and doing so just after his deputies broke the president’s veto with the fascists,” the party said. According to Liberal leader Richard Sulík, Matovič is doing everything he can to get SaS out of the coalition. Instead of rejoicing that he enforced what he wanted, Sulík, according to Sulík, is lying about the ‘conspiracy’ of SaS with the opposition. Sulík admitted that he was talking to the leader of Smer-SD Robert Fico in the Chamber of Deputies, he was supposed to ask him about the planned course of the meeting to dismiss him.
