Josef Kemr, who was born on June 20, 1922 in Prague, first appeared in front of a film camera as a children’s extra in 1937. He devoted himself to acting from the age of 18 in a theater company. After World War II, he worked at the theater in Kladno, in Prague at the Akropolis Theater, the Libeň Theater, the Municipal Theaters of Prague and, since 1965, at the National Theater.
