The Central Slovak Distribution (SSD) planned eight major outages in the Trenčín, Žilina and Banská Bystrica self-governing regions next week. Altogether, they will feel more than 6,000 collection points in eight districts. SSD spokesman Miroslav Gejdoš informed about it. In the Trenčín Region, they will shut down electricity on Tuesday (June 21) from 6.30 am to 6.30 pm at the Rozkvet housing estate in Považská Bystrica. The shutdown will affect about 2,000 households, due to the reconstruction of the substation. The overhaul of the overhead line will cause an outage in the Prievidza part of Hradec on Wednesday (June 22) from 7.30 am to 3.00 pm. There will be about 800 consumption points without electricity. In the Žilina Region, there will be a power outage on Monday (June 20) from 7.15 am to 5.30 pm in the villages of Krásno nad Kysucou and Zborov nad Bystricou, from 7.30 am to 8.00 pm there will be no electricity in the municipalities of Ťapešovo and Oravská Jasenica and from 8.00 am to 4.00 pm in Štiavnička , Ivachnová and Liptovský Michal. On Wednesday (June 22), the inhabitants of the Tvrdošín Medvedzie district must prepare for a shutdown. From 8.00 to 15.30 there will be no electricity about 500 collection points. “Due to the nature of the planned work, power outages are necessary. SSD electricians will operate high-voltage equipment. For safety reasons, some technologies will remain off for the necessary time. However, maintenance workers will do their utmost to end power outages as soon as possible. “If there are no complications, it may be significantly earlier than in the mentioned times,” concluded Gejdoš.
