Vladimír Macura Source: pexels.com LEON – Slovak weightlifter Vladimír Macura became a three-time world champion under 17 in the category over 102 kg at the Youth World Championships in Mexico. In the heaviest weight category, he won in the market (151 kg) and in the match (181) and triumphed in a total of 332 kg with a convincing lead of 17 kg. After the titles at the European Championships 2021 under 15-17, this is another significant success for him. With a body weight of 127.5 kg, he was the second heaviest in the category, only the home Vizcarra Meza (132.3) had more kilos, who finished in 4th place. Macura was the only Slovak national team member at the youth championships in Lyon, Mexico. Representatives born in the years 2005-2009 started on it.
