Ukraine, Zelensky warns: “We will not sell the south to anyone”

“We will not give the south of the country to anyone, we will take back everything that is ours, the sea will be Ukrainian and safe”. Ukrainian head of state Volodymyr Zelensky wrote this morning on the presidency website, relaunched by Ukrinform. Zelensky has just returned from a visit yesterday to the port cities of Miykolaiv and Odessa, in the south of the country threatened by the Russian invasion. During the meeting with local authorities, Governor Maksym Marchenko explained the measures taken to defend the region from the Russian military attack. There was also talk of how to organize a safe corridor for the export of grain and how to support the farmers for the harvest. According to the data provided by Marchenko, due to the Russian aggression there are 39 civilian ships from 14 different countries, blocked in the Black Sea ports.
