Olivier Serva won 7,766 votes (43.44%), while his opponent, Dominique Biras, won the support of 2,685 voters (15.02%).
The latter even said he was satisfied last week with the score obtained for his first election. The registrants of four of the municipalities in this first constituency are among those who voted the least in the first round. Indeed, Grand-Bourg (19%), Morne-à-l’Eau (21%), Capesterre de Marie-Galante (21%) and Saint-Louis (22%) were among the least committed municipalities. In the end, two Abymes were qualified.
Moreover, the mobilization was stronger in Abymes (28%) and Pointe-à-Pitre (26%).
