At least 12 dead and 8 injured in a road accident on the Mexico – Querétaro highway

Credit: @GN_Carreteras on Twitter (CNN Spanish) — At least 12 people died and 8 more were injured this Saturday after a road mishap involving a “collective transport vehicle” near kilometer 128 of the Mexico-Querétaro highway, the National Guard told CNN. The entity said that 11 people had died at the scene and that one more had lost her life while she was transferred to receive medical attention. The injured, according to the National Guard, were taken to the General Hospital San Juan del Río, in Querétaro. It was not explained what condition they were in. The entity did not report what caused the mishap or if other vehicles would have been involved.
