Very strong storms have already started in Europe. They will gradually arrive in Slovakia, with the strongest hit in the west of Slovakia. Be prepared. Strong storms are heading for Slovakia, which will bring strong winds, intense rainfall to our territory, and hail or even tornadoes are not excluded. The Cold Front is already passing through our area and the first storms of today are already on its forehead. These are currently being formed in the south of Germany, in Austria and in the Czech Republic. Over time, storms will pick up, and very dangerous side effects are expected. Caution is warranted. The storms will proceed to the southeast and in the afternoon to evening around 6 p.m. hit western Slovakia. Pay particular attention to strong winds The models suggest that a storm line will be created, which will bring a strong gust of wind to our territory, which can blow at a speed of about 25 m / s. Such wind force can also cause more damage, so we recommend drivers not to park their cars under the trees. In addition to strong winds, torrential floods are also expected during the storms, which will hit the Nitra, Trnava and Trenčín regions the hardest.
