(CNN Spanish) – These Olympic Games left stories of overcoming, self-care and empathy, beams of lights in the middle of a fierce pandemic that shows no signs of slowing down.
Some Latin American countries had dominant participations in these games, while others struggled a little more to get into the Olympic medal table.
Here we show you how the medal table of the countries of the region was in Tokyo 2020, and also how the Latin American athletes did in the last Games in Rio 2016, London 2012, Beijing 2008 and Athens 2004.
