The 26-year-old defender has played in the NHL in recent seasons for the Ottawa Senators, San Jose Sharks and New Jersey Devils. He played 94 matches in the profile, scored 14 points (1 + 13). “He is a right-handed defender and he has a good height. He has a solid defense, he makes the right decisions on the ice, he does not take unnecessary risks. Christian can interrupt the opponent’s attacks, he is a good shooter and skater,” said Avangard CEO Alexei Volkov.
