The father of this family nevertheless tells Laurent that he is… the real owner of the house, and exhibits a “promise of sale” on a loose sheet, without header or legal information, indicating that the property has been paid. The Tunisian family explains that they paid 120,000 euros in cash for the property. The legal buyers of the house had made a visit in September 2021, and had noted the presence of a simple mattress on the floor of one of the bedrooms. According to Le Parisien, the notarial deed nevertheless refers to an occupation without right or title of the house, to which Laurent replies that he did not imagine “that a family had settled”. The young man thought of forcibly evicting the illegal occupants, but said he was dissuaded by the Essonne gendarmerie: “Don’t do it because otherwise you will end up in prison”, they would have warned. Attempts would nevertheless have been made as a group, mobilizing up to 15 gendarmes to avoid clashes… And without success for new buyers. Since then, confrontations between Élodie and Laurent and the Tunisian family have multiplied. According to the mayor of Ollainville, it has four children attending school in the town. A crushing financial burden: “For three years, we have worked like crazy, without counting the hours, to be able to afford this house. I’ll end up taking a tent.
