Therefore, I expected that our attitudes would be different on a proposal that would massively help families, “said the Minister of Finance. He added that the president “judged” two parties. On the one hand, according to Matovič, there was the interest of three million children and parents, and on the other hand, the interests of an anti-family coalition formed by Mazurek, Fico and Sulík. “She should have heard the lawyers of both sides, but she gave space to the people who were against it. She didn’t give me a single minute. I’m so sorry. The president thus deprived the right to defend families with children and denied the people the right to decide freely, “Matovič stated. “With all due respect to the President, those families will win anyway,” the finance minister said. Prime Minister Eduard Herger also reacted to Čaputa’s decision. He only stated that he respected him, he would still study her justification and then consider the next steps.
