According to our information, a first case of monkey pox has been declared in Marseille. The patient is an agent of the Public Assistance Hospitals of Marseille, stationed in the emergency room of the North Hospital. The patient was placed in solitary confinement at his home. His case is considered benign. The probability of contamination of other personnel is considered negligible, in particular because of the systematic wearing of masks in hospitals.
