The trial in the case of the murder of Ján Kuciak and his fiancée: Andruskó – Nový Čas testifies in court

At the Specialized Criminal Court in Pezinok, the trial continues in the case of the murder of journalist Ján Kuciak, his fiancée Martina Kušnírová and also in the case of planned murders of prosecutors. The interrogation of Zoltán Andruskó, who is already legally convicted in the case of the murder of a journalist and his fiancée, continues. He is excluded from acting alone in preparation for the murders of prosecutors. In the case of the murder of a journalist and his fiancée, the court decides on the guilt of Marian Kočner and Alena Zsuzsová. ŠTS originally acquitted them of the charges, but the Supreme Court of the Slovak Republic returned the case to the court of first instance last May. Three decisions are valid in this case. Miroslav Marček and Tomáš Szabó received 25 years in prison. Zoltán Andruskó 15 years unconditionally. Five people are facing charges – Marian Kočner, Alena Zsuzsová, Tomáš Szabó, Dušan Kracina and Darko Dragič for the preparations for the murder of the current Attorney General Maroš Žilinka, the current Special Prosecutor Daniel Lipšic and the former Deputy Attorney General Petr Šufliarský. The order for the murders of Žilinka and Lipšica was to come in the autumn of 2017, and Zsuzsová was to accept it. At the April hearing, Tomáš Szabó confessed to all the acts he blamed on him in this case. Injured prosecutors are not present at the hearing.
