Russia will not employ tactical nuclear weapons in the conflict in Ukraine. This is the conviction expressed by the Russian ambassador to the United Kingdom, Andrey Kelin, in an interview with the BBC. The use of these weapons “has nothing to do with the current operation underway”, says Kelin, explaining that Moscow has very strict provisions for their use especially when the existence of the state is threatened.
