From June 10, Japan reopens its doors to foreign tourists, banned from the country since the coronavirus pandemic broke out. The announcement was made by Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida, explaining that the country is easing the measures introduced to contain the spread of Covid-19. The Tokyo government’s decision aims to give a new impetus to tourism. In 2018, Japan welcomed more than 30 million tourists.
