PSG have found their new coach, at least the one Luis Campos wants to replace Mauricio Pochettino. According to Le Parisien, Ruben Amorim is the priority of the future Parisian sports director and could succeed the Argentine coach in the coming weeks. Aged 37, Ruben Amorim is one of the hottest young coaches in Europe and was notably crowned Portuguese champion in 2021 with Sporting CP. This season, his club finished second in the Portuguese league behind Porto and reached the knockout stages of the Champions League (exit by Manchester City). He notably knows Pablo Sarabia and Nuno Mendes. Amorim has a €30m clause However, this track does not look easy for Paris since Amorim has a contract until 2024 at Sporting CP, with a release clause set at €30m. This weekend, FootMercato revealed that Antero Henrique had offered Amorim to PSG. The two men are also … brothers-in-law. In its edition of the day, L’Equipe also slipped the name of Amorim and hinted that he could be a lead from PSG by Luis Campos. This is obviously the case and even a priority for the future strongman of PSG.
