Zdena Studenková was born on May 19, 1954 in Bratislava. In addition to beauty, she also received acting talent. Since 1977, she has performed alternately on two stages in Bratislava, briefly in the drama of the New Stage, most of the time in the Drama of the Slovak National Theater (SND). Her most famous film characters include the singer Gábina in Marie Poledňáková’s comedy success, I Enjoy the World with You (1982). The audience could also see her in Václav Matějka’s film The Angel with the Devil in the Body (1983) and in the sequel The Angel Seduces the Devil (1988). In Martin Šulík’s film Everything I Like (1992), Zdena Studenková created the tragicomic character of a jealous ex-wife. The actress also appeared in a television adaptation of Fiodor Michajlovič Dostojevský’s short story Two Men Under the Bed (1994), which presents a picture of the life of the St. Petersburg cream in a comedic form. The popular actress also acted in the theatrical production Memory of Water. Later, she played prominent characters in television series, such as Between Us (2005), The Surgery in the Rose Garden (2007) or Panelák (2008), she also starred in the Czech series The First Republic (2014) or the Marquis project Worst Week of My Life (2021). Versatile talent led Zdena Studenková to musicals. Director Jozef Bednárik cast her in the musicals Blood Brothers, Jozef and his miraculous colored cloak. In Košice, she played in his musical Sweet Charity and also performed in the titles Someone Likes It Hot and Hamlet. One of her activities was Molotow cocktail, a performance with which many places in Slovakia traveled together with Miroslav Nog, Štefan Skrúcany, Rasť Pišk and Michal Dočolomanský. The book entitled Recipes with a pinch of acting spice by Zdena Studenková was published in 2004, and in 2006 the book novel Som herečka appeared on the shelves of bookstores. Zdena Studenková was married twice. her first husband was the photographer Ivan Kostroň, the second was the director Stanislav Párnický, with whom she has a daughter Simona. I got divorced, I agreed to sell the house, share the money. I didn’t care if I had a place to live. I just wanted to be with him, ”she said once.
