Credit: RICARDO ARDUENGO/AFP via Getty Images (CNN Spanish) — A power outage affects parts of El Salvador, Honduras and Guatemala, as reported this Wednesday by the Regional Electricity Market Operator Entity. “At approximately 6:46 p.m., a regional event occurs in the Central American electrical network, with effects mainly in El Salvador, Honduras and Guatemala,” he explained in Ente Operador on Twitter, although without specifying what event it was. A CNN team in San Salvador said they had lost power for a few minutes. In Honduras and Guatemala, CNN teams indicate that local media report blackouts in some parts of the country. The proportions of recorded blackouts are unknown.
