After 78 laps, Fabio Quartararo finally got off his bike. The Frenchman (23) was one of the toughest riders last week during the Jerez tests. The day before, he had finished second in the Spanish Grand Prix, taking sole command of the general classification of MotoGP. With the engine off after this Andalusian stage, the Niçois told L’Équipe about his first races in the combination of the reigning world champion. As he comes to the end of his contract, he has not spared Yamaha, urging the Japanese manufacturer to provide him with a motorcycle worthy of his expectations. Those that make him aim for victory at the Grand Prix de France on Sunday, on a Le Mans circuit where he can become the first Frenchman to win in the queen category.
