In an interview with France 24, the president of the International Committee of the Red Cross explains that he has the impression that the Syrian president is “aware of the international environment and the pressure that this exerts on Syria”. Bashar al-Assad is “grateful for the humanitarian work, but also very clear in his vision that things cannot continue like this”, he also explains.
