In western Slovakia, torrential rain caused problems, which flooded several places. The storms were the most dangerous with their side effects, but as far as lightning activity is concerned, 10,972 lightning strikes. Even during the past 24 hours, the storms were significant, but they did not cause such more general problems and were especially interesting for lightning activity. Around the capital, the storm brought dozens of lightning bolts and more severe rainfall. In the center of Bratislava, precipitation fell within 20 mm and the storm was interesting, especially the lightning activity, which continued to grow over the Little Carpathians.
