The President of the Republic, Milan Uhrík, informed about the death of the young assistant Monika Porubská on the social network. “Yesterday, at a young age, our long-time colleague and good friend Monika left us suddenly. If you knew her, please give her a prayer and at least a silent memory,” the MEP wrote last Friday. According to information from the cas.sk portal, a young woman without signs of life was found in her apartment. It is not known what caused her sudden death. According to her friend, they found her in the bathroom alone. “It’s awful, in the most difficult time of her life, she had no one to help her,” her friend told the portal. The Holy Mass for the young woman took place on Tuesday in the Church of the Holy Trinity in Rybník and was buried in the local cemetery. It was also attended by MEP Milan Uhrík and many other people. Monika Porubská was a graduate nurse and external student at the Faculty of Arts. Her name is also associated with the ĽSNS scandal after the murder of journalist Ján Kuciak, when she published an inappropriate commentary on behalf of the whole party, which insulted the journalist and later deleted him.
