The vote to release Robert Fico for detention is slowly approaching. The coalition has decided to speed up the parliamentary proceedings. The three-party clubs suggested that the discussion continue after 7 p.m. The members of the Direction registered for the debate will probably also speak at night. The vote may take place tomorrow. The votes are therefore intensively recalculated in the corridors. It still looks like the score will be very tight, but the attitudes of the individuals in the coalition are slowly beginning to crystallize. OĽaNO MP Katarína Hatráková told HN that she planned to stay. “Mr Fico is a Member of Parliament, so it needs to be looked at from the point of view of parliamentarism,” she said, adding that “he should enjoy more protection, because it is a political party, the citizens are behind it.” Hatráková talks about purposeful prosecution She also explains her position by saying that she does not perceive the reasons stated in the request for extradition as sufficient. “There is more politics than justice,” she added. Asked if she thought it was a purposeful prosecution, she said she wanted to avoid such an expression because it seemed too harsh.
