War in Ukraine: Finland cancels nuclear power plant construction contract with Russian Rosatom – 20 Minutes

A contract with Russian group Rosatom to build a nuclear reactor in northern Finland has been cancelled. The reason ? The additional risks linked to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the Finnish-majority consortium leading the project announced on Monday. Fennovoima consortium in a press release, also citing the “significant delays and the inability” of Rosatom “to complete” the Hanhikivi-1 reactor site.
