Facebook has banned Blah from adding photos. He invites to Russian networks – Živé.sk

The politician is preparing for the possibility that the largest social network will definitely block him. According to Ľuboš Blaha, an opposition deputy for the Smer-SD party, he cannot add photos to the social network Facebook due to the ban. He stated this on his fan page on Saturday. “You won’t believe it, but employees of the American corporation that owns this social network have told me that I am banned for security reasons,” he wrote on Facebook. According to Blaha, he found out when he wanted to add a photo from the business trip that he and his colleague Ladislav Kamenický were on. At the same time, he added that “last time an American corporation blocked me for a photo from Prague with my family”. “When you take pictures with your children, you are supposed to be promoting violence – well, I understand that liberals from the USA hate the traditional family, but that’s the way it is,” he added. Conspiring on hidden intentions For God, this is far from the first punishment. One of his videos was deleted by his social network at the end of November last year. It was the first so-called strike. The more shots the user collects, the harder the penalty will be. The first strike is just a warning. The deputy earned the third strike in April and therefore had to remain silent for 72 hours. However, the ban on adding multimedia content does not fall under the normal penalties for new sprays. This is confirmed by the very fact that Blaha continues to add new posts to Facebook, only without accompanying photos. “We asked them what I had done wrong – no response. They just need to find any pretext to get rid of Blahu, “the MP conspires. “Americans are censoring Slovak deputies, welcoming corporate totalitarianism,” he added in another statute a few hours later. This is not the first time Blaha has accused Facebook of being politicians. The network also reacted to the MP’s accusations in the past, when it emphasized to Živé.sk in February that the reason for the intervention was a repeated violation of the network’s rules by Blahu and nothing else. Such mistakes by Facebook are the order of the day and it is one of the biggest ills of the social network when it comes to enforcing its own rules. The Živé.sk editorial staff continuously documents a number of such cases where problem-free content is incorrectly evaluated and the user is punished. Conversely, infringing content remains online after evaluation. “Final” can come at any time Ľuboš Blaha has almost 175,000 followers on his Facebook fan page. His activities on the social network are generally considered to be the reason for his electoral success. Therefore, this channel is of the utmost importance to him. However, with the increasing violations of the rules of the social network, there is an increasing risk that Blaha will come to him completely or at least for a longer period of time. For example, for the fifth strike, the user is already blocked for a full 30 days, which can be a relatively big blow in terms of political marketing. Facebook does not specify how many shots a user must record in order for their account to be definitively canceled. He does not want anyone to misuse this information to avoid punishment. Moreover, such a drastic step also depends on the size of the specific infringements. The user can theoretically be canceled even after the very first fault. It is enough that it is serious enough. Any further violation of the rules, especially given the nature of Blah’s texts and the previous history of offenses against the network’s rules, is thus a risk for the Member. For completeness, Ľuboš Blaha also has a profile on Instagram. Five and a half thousand Slovaks are watching him there. However, the platform has the same operator as Facebook, Meta. Therefore, he could face similar complications there in the future.
