For almost two months now, Ukraine has been fighting for its independence, with hundreds of thousands of Czechs, Slovaks and Poles joining the war-torn country. Employees of the AURES Holdings group, the operator of the AAA AUTO car center network, Mototechna and Driverama, have also joined the extensive assistance in the countries in which they operate. In addition to direct financial support in the amount of almost four million Czech crowns (in terms of more than 160 thousand euros), the company has already accommodated the first Ukrainian mothers with children in its Czech and Slovak branches. She also employed the first Ukrainian women to support the employment of refugees. “Unfortunately, the war in Ukraine is not over after almost two months. As part of pan-European solidarity, we consider it our duty as an international company to help Ukraine and its people seeking security in Central Europe. I am very pleased that even after such a long time Thanks to the collection of employees and their personal commitment, we have very quickly renovated the apartments in some of our Czech and Slovak branches, where the first Ukrainian mothers with children already live. “We continue to collect first-aid kits from purchased cars and we have already sent 4,000 of them to Ukraine. Our cars help non-profit organizations as well as volunteers from the ranks of employees who travel several times a week with the necessary material directly to Ukraine,” said Karolína Topolová, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors of AURES Holdings, for AAA AUTO, Mototechna and Driverama car center network operators. AURES Holdings has already shipped 4,000 first-aid kits from purchased vehicles from all of its nearly 60 branches in six countries. She sent a car with 30,000 drapes and other material assistance to the Slovak-Ukrainian border. The group also lent almost two dozen cars and multi-seater cars or supplies to volunteers and charities that help in various places, such as Romodrom and STK Brno in Moravia, the POMOC association in the South Bohemian Region and in Slovakia ÚAMK SR. The Ford Ranger from the AAA AUTO offer is accompanied by a helicopter from Brno’s volunteer firefighters led by Jiří Vlk as a fuel supply vehicle. “A week ago, we also helped with the transfer to the exit license plate, along with all the costs involved, and with the transport of two SUVs that will be deployed directly in Ukraine. It is quite likely that they will not return at all. We are also transporting more bulkier cargo with the help of tractors, which normally transport cars for customers within our branches, “added Topolová. The AURES Holdings group has registered as a company in the initiative across the country, where it mainly offers assistance with the transport of everything possible. She also helps with staff when she has managed to fill vacancies in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland with ten refugees. Their next recruitment is currently underway. A large proportion of the group’s 2,800 employees have been involved in helping with at least a small amount of money or volunteering. The company’s help is very diverse, which was also noted in the CZECH TOP 100 ranking, which praised AURES Holdings for its help in connection with the war situation in Ukraine.
