yesterday 17:00 | In the final series of the Finnish Liiga, we lose 1: 3 on matches. Unfortunately, we surprised Tappar Tampere a little, except for the last win 1: 0. We weren’t even lucky. We took little risk, which cost us more goals. They defend well and play slower hockey. But we will try to reverse it. MY DRAFT YEAR I will honestly say I would rather attack. I see it in the extra-league final, where there were great chances in the overtime on the part of Slovan Bratislava and Nitra. But I’m not complaining. Finland has taught me other things that will help me in my career. The Finns won the Olympic tournament in defensive hockey in Beijing, but I don’t think everyone will repeat after them. Americans and Canadians play more offensive, more for the audience. Goals fall there. European hockey may take the Finnish route, and the Czechs also have a Finnish coach. However, I believe that we will continue to play offensively in the national team. After the final series, I would like to go home for a few days, and then I want to join the national team. I don’t feel tired, I’m well prepared. I read that Marek Hrivík and Petr Cehlárik will probably be missing from the championship. The responsibility will probably fall more on us younger ones. I like similar challenges. I just want to confirm the performances from the Winter Olympics, but also from Turku. I’ll help the team as much as possible. Craig Ramsay’s system is a lot about skating, active shooting. You don’t have to have the best players in the world to do that. Plus, everyone in Slovakia sees that this style of play suits us. We can manage to play a good result at the World Championships even with a team where leaders will be missing.
