Covid India, 4000 deaths and over 340 thousand infections

India confirms 343,144 Covid-19 infections confirmed in the last 24 hours and 4,000 deaths, after the sad record of 4,205 deaths recorded on Tuesday. The official bulletin reported by the Times of India speaks of a total of 262,317 deaths since the beginning of the pandemic that has hit the Asian giant hard in recent weeks. According to the newspaper, more than 16,000 deaths have been recorded this week alone. Since the beginning of the health emergency, there have been 24,046,809 infections with more than 20 million people declared cured after contracting the coronavirus.
