Updated 15:18 28. 4. 2022, 11:35 Entrepreneur Zoroslav Kollár confessed to bribery. According to his statement, he handed over an envelope with 40,000 euros to Ľudovít Makó. Makó claims that the money went to the then SIS deputy Boris Beň and SIS ex-head Vladimír Pčolinský for stopping the surveillance of Zoroslav Kollár. “Nowhere in his resignation does Zoroslav Kollár state that he would hand over the bribe to me,” says the former head of SIS V. Pčolinský, who has the minutes of Kollár’s resignation at his disposal. “Zoroslav Kollár said one thing. He gave Ľudovít Makó money for friendly service. However, he did not address what he did with the money. He didn’t even know what he gave the money to Makó for, “Pčolinský told TV Markíza. Kollár testified that he gave Mako money to “clean up” a problem. Makó allegedly never told him exactly what he would do, what he would arrange, only that the problem would “clean up”, according to the minutes of the interrogation available to the TV Markíza newsroom. Kollár said he knew he was in the SIS search engine, but he didn’t mind and didn’t pay attention. Originally, he didn’t even want to give Mako money. He eventually handed him 40,000 euros after Makoo urged him three or four times. In his statement, Kollár rejected the claim that he had paid Makó not to be processed by the SIS. According to him, Makó’s statement is not 100% true. Pčolinský also added to TV Markíza that the statements of Makó and Boris Beňa differ in how the money was packed and what banknotes the amount of 40,000 euros was made of. According to Pčolinský, Kollár is also under pressure for other cases and therefore changed his statement. Kollár wants to conclude an agreement on guilt and punishment.
