According to the AP agency, a pilot from Brisbane was driving a Porsche when he could not drive and flew out of the embankment. The driver succumbed to injuries on the spot, his wife – navigator ended up in the hospital with minor injuries. Both were regular participants in the competition. Police are investigating the accident, the victim’s name was not disclosed.
