Žilinka will not decide on Fico’s detention, the proposal was sent to parliament by Lipšic’s representative Masár – Denník N

Parliament will decide whether to extradite Robert Fico, the president of the Direction. Deputy Special Prosecutor Ladislav Masár filed this motion today. Competence belongs to Attorney General Maroš Žilinka, but he gave up this option on Friday. Žilinka announced on Friday that he would not act in this matter, and entrusted the deputy special prosecutor. The team is Prosecutor Ladislav Masár. The court can decide on the detention of Robert Fico as a member of parliament only after the National Council has given its consent. The decision is made first by the Mandate and Immunity Committee and then by the plenary of the National Council. Žilinka will not take the case to the special prosecutor’s office, Lipšic is not taking part in the case Žilinka also announced that special prosecutor Daniel Lipšic is not taking any action in the matter, because he may be interested.
