Slavicist Michal Sersen will not play in the first final against Nitra, he got a stop for one match – ŠPORT.SK

today 19:01 | The disciplinary commission of the Slovak Ice Hockey Association (DK SZĽH) suspended the activities of the defender Slovan Michal Sersen for one match. The captain of Bratislava will not play in the first match of the final against Nitra on Friday. During the seventh duel of the semifinal series of the Kaufland playoffs, the Tipos Extraliga against Košice crashed into one of the referees. DK initiated proceedings on suspicion of committing a disciplinary offense (physical assault within the meaning of Article 8, Section II, Title I of the Special Part of the Disciplinary Code of the SZĽH). The Sersen finally measured a one-match distance. “I was running in support of the attack, I noticed the referee at the last minute. It was too late, it was definitely not the intention. I apologized right after the third,” Sersen said. TASR verified the decision of DK with its chairman Rastislav Jakubovič, who added one more piece of information: “In addition to stopping activities for one match, we fined the player 500 euros.”
