Mariupol, CEO Azovstal: “Situation close to catastrophe”

The situation at the Azovstal steel plant in Mariupol is “close to catastrophe”. This was stated to CNN by Yuriy Ryzhenkov, CEO of Metinvest Holding, the company that owns the plant. “When the war started we had large stocks of food and water in the air raid shelters and plant facilities, so for a while civilians were able to use them. Unfortunately, all things tend to run out, especially the food. I think now we are close to a catastrophe, “Ryzhenkov said.
