Military satellite imagery tends to be of lower quality on Google Maps for general users. They are often completely blurred to protect their classified status. This is the case, for example, with one of the basic French air forces. However, in the images that circulated on the Internet on Monday, it is now possible to see in detail the nuclear weapons depots, submarines and military bases in Russia. “Now everyone can see the Russian military infrastructure with a resolution of about 0.5 meters per pixel,” he said on his Twitter account linked to the Ukrainian armed forces.
