There are 81 patients seriously infected by Covid-19 and hospitalized in Israel, the highest number since May. The local health authorities report this, accusing the particularly contagious Delta variant of the new increase in cases. According to data from the Ministry of Health, 1,263 new cases of coronavirus were recorded in Israel yesterday. For three consecutive days in the country, 1,300 cases have been exceeded. At 9 this morning, another 365 cases had been reported, according to the Ministry of Health. Official figures indicate that there are 10,194 cases of the virus active in the country, up from around 200 two months ago.
