(CNN Spanish) – The president of Brazil, Jair Bolsonaro, on Friday uploaded a photograph to Twitter in which he is seen walking through the corridors of the hospital where he was treated for an intestinal obstruction; in the publication he assures that he would be back “soon”.

“Back to the field soon, God willing! We have done a lot, but we still have a lot to do for our Brazil! Thank you for your support and prayers. A big hug to all!”, Says the text that accompanies the photo on the social network.

For its part, the Vila Nova Star hospital, which treats the president in Sao Paulo, said this Friday in its last medical report that Bolsonaro “is well and continues to progress satisfactorily, without changes in medical behavior.”

And he added that “the president continues without a prognosis for hospital discharge.”

The president of Brazil was transferred to Sao Paulo this Wednesday after he was admitted to a hospital of the Armed Forces, in Brasilia, due to a persistent hiccup that was causing him abdominal discomfort. His medical team had raised that it was an intestinal obstruction that, according to Bolsonaro himself, could be associated with the stabbing of which he was a victim when he was on the presidential campaign in 2018.
