Health, San Donato Group on a mission to Kenya

Dr. Kamel Ghribi, president of Gsd Healthcare Middle East and vice president of the San Donato Group, together with a delegation composed among others of Dr. Francesco Galli, professor Gianvito Martino and Dr. Massimo Tivegna, met today, on the occasion of a three-day official visit to Kenya, President Uhuru Kenyatta and Health Minister Mutahi Kagwe. Central themes of the meetings were collaboration in the health field between Italy and Kenya and the development of health in the African country. The San Donato Group, in particular, has made available and support to the Kenyan government its know-how, the experience of its doctors, researchers and managers for the strengthening and efficiency of the largest psychiatric center in the country and for the creation some new and modern acute care hospitals. This visit represents the first step in the development of a joint Italian-Kenyan action in the field of health care, aimed at implementing the local hospital network and guaranteeing the population of sustainable quality care. “Never as during the period of the pandemic has It was clear that cooperation in health matters is crucial for the destiny of peoples.
