Covid Israel today, 855 infections: record since March

There are 855 new coronavirus infections in Israel today, according to the bulletin: this is the highest figure since last March 22. This was announced by the Israeli Ministry of Health, according to local media reports. Yesterday there were 750 more infections than in the previous 24 hours. The increase in cases, due to the delta variant, will be the subject of a meeting convened at 1pm (Italian time) by Prime Minister Naftali Bennett together with the competent ministers and health authorities. However, the leap in infections is not having as consequences an increase in patients in intensive care. On the contrary, compared to yesterday, serious Covid patients fell from 53 to 52.
