Covid Israel, new wave peak: 732 cases in one day

There are 732 new coronavirus cases registered in Israel in the last 24 hours, the highest number recorded in the new wave of infections and the highest number of positives since March. This was announced by the Israeli Ministry of Health, explaining that 47 people are in serious condition. The Jerusalem Post points out that about 53% of the new cases were vaccinated or patients who had been infected and recovered from Covid-19. The Delta variant, first identified in India and now responsible for 90% of new cases in Israel, is under fire.
