“It’s coming Rome”, so the Scots celebrate the Azzurri

“It’s coming Rome”. The Scottish independence newspaper ‘The National’ thus celebrates Italy’s victory over England in the final of the European football championships. ‘Supporter of an independent Scotland’, the newspaper calls the Italian coach Mancini ‘Roberto The Bruce’, comparing him to the first king of Scotland. Even before the game, the newspaper had published on the front page the image of the coach as William Wallace, the Scottish national hero who fought for independence from England in the 13th century, played by Mel Gibson in ‘Braveheart’, the film he directed, winner of five Oscars.
