Earthquake in Indonesia, shock of magnitude 6.2

An earthquake measuring 6.2 on the Richter scale struck the central Indonesian province of North Sulawesi at 7.43am local time this morning. The epicenter of the quake was located 112 kilometers southwest of Melonguane, in the district of Kepulauan, the hypocenter at a depth of 10 kilometers below the seabed. There are no reports of injuries and the tsunami warning system has not been activated.
