Paris: end of the police intervention in Bercy – BFMTV

The BRI has now left the scene. It was a “swatting”, a hoax aimed at bringing in the police for a non-existent crime. The police intervention is now over at 118 rue de Bercy in Paris. The BRI went to the scene after having received a report of a neighborhood dispute followed by threats with a long gun, according to a police source with BFMTV. The police went inside the apartment in question but did not found no one inside. It was a “swatting”, a hoax aimed at involving the police for a non-existent offense.
