The willingness to help Ukraine is as high as in the first days of the war. It is related to the respondents’ view of whom they attribute the main responsibility for the war. This follows from a survey that is part of a project called How are you, Slovakia? According to the survey, respondents blaming the Russian invasion primarily on the US and NATO declare a significantly lower willingness to help financially or to accommodate someone from Ukraine. According to the survey, the declared willingness to help Ukraine is related to who the people consider most responsible for the war in Ukraine. People who ask “Who do you think is most responsible for the current war in Ukraine?” they reply that it is Russia (44.1 percent of respondents), they declare a much higher degree of willingness to help Ukraine than respondents who blame the US and NATO on the invasion of Russian troops to Ukraine (31.6 percent of respondents).
