Elon Musk has been quite active over the last social platform for the last month, where he has thought to start one. In the end, however, he decided to invest in his favorite Twitter. He bought his 9% of shares and became the largest shareholder. He then started pressing the edit button and said he was preparing big changes for Twitter. At that time, even the CEO of Twitter did not mind. He also invited Musk to the board. But then there was a conversation about the openness of the platform, and then Muska’s dream began to fall apart. Which is interesting by the way, since Twitter is a very open platform, so its exact purpose is questionable. Subsequently, Musk did not join the board and, as things went well, he wanted to buy Twitter. He gave shareholders an offer of $ 43 billion. However, this was immediately rejected by some large shareholders, as it was a small amount and has now been officially rejected by the board of Twitter. More specifically, they activated the Shareholder Rights Plan, which will give shareholders a year to find out the true value of the company. This means that the company will not be sold until at least April 14, 2023, if the council still insists on its decision. Musk now has only to wait or try to buy back the shares and make a violent takeover of the company. Finally, he tries it now.
