They order the capture of Mexican businessman Miguel Alemán Magnani, founder of the Interjet airline

(CNN Spanish) – In Mexico, a federal judge issued an arrest warrant against businessman Miguel Alemán Magnani, investigated for alleged tax fraud, a source from the judicial sector confirmed to CNN.

The same source did not give details about the case against the former president of the Interjet Airline Board of Directors.

Miguel Alemán Magnani is the son of the businessman and former governor of Veracruz Miguel Alemán Velasco and the grandson of the former president of Mexico Miguel Alemán Valdés.

He was founder and executive chairman of the Board of Directors of the airline created in 2005.

After presenting financial problems in 2019, Interjet stopped operating in December 2020.

CNN has requested a reaction from Alemán Magnani’s legal team, with no response so far.
